Big Bites Tom Keenan
Sits On Top of the FLW
Eastern AOY Race
With
2 tournaments already in
the books for 2010 on the
FLW Eastern Walleye Tour,
Big Bites Tom Keenan sits
on Top of the AOY race
with 297 points. His
nearest competitor is
David Kolb at 292 AOY
points. Also
in the Top 5 is Big Bites
Dean Aroldussen, he has
279 points less than 20
points behind Keenan.
This
has been a one, two punch
for the Big Bite Walleye
Team as Dean was able to
win the first event on the
Detroit River a few weeks
back and Tom was able to
win the second event on
the Illinois River.
The
next stop of the Eastern
Tour is Lake Winnebago
July 15 -17th.
Big Bite Pros Rojas,
Kriet and Lane Battling on
the Elite Series

With
just 2 stops left on the
Bassmaster Elite Tour Dean
Rojas sits in 10th
place in the AOY race.
Dean previously occupied
the 4th place
spot thanks to his 3rd
place finish at Smith
Mountain and placing 12th
at the Elite event at
Pickwick.
Dean missed the
final 12 cut at
Guntersville and Clarks
Hill, falling down six spots in the AOY
race.
Jeff
Kriet has been coming on
strong and is currently
sitting in 9th
place in the AOY race. Jeff
jumped up from 13th place
to 9th after his first day
lead and 14th place finish
at Clarks Hill. This
is critical because to
compete in the post season
for Championship Week in
Alabama you have to be in
the Top 12.
Russ
Lane just moved up from 27th
to 23rd place. Russ
had a 5th place
showing at Guntersville
bringing in a 26 plus bag
the final day thanks in
part to two 7 pounders
caught on a Kriet Tail
Worm.
Russ will have to
make more Top 12 cuts if
he is going to get enough
points to get into the Top
12 to make the cut for
Championship week which
will be fished in his back
yard on the Alabama River.
Russ has high hopes for
Kentucky lake.
Big Bite FLW Pro Randall
Tharp in contention for
Classic
Big
Bite FLW Pro Randy Tharp
is currently in 3rd
place in points in the
BASS Southern Open Series
with 538 points.
Randy placed 4th
on Lake Okeechobee using
the Rojas Fighting Frog
and 14th on
Smith Lake.
The final stop of
the Southern Open will be
on Lake Seminole in
Bainbridge, GA.
We
here at Big Bite wish all
our Pros the best of luck
in 2010 and Big Bites in
their upcoming events!!!
