I was not able to find a very well-suited jig head for the lure. The channeling on the body made it very difficult to rig without the hook tearing right through or sitting very awkward. Maybe would work better on a dropshot rig? I’m not sure. I was able to seat lure properly if I tore the first 1/2″ or so off the jig but at that point, it just felt wasteful to me.

This is the best crappie lure ever made.
I know, you’re thinking “man I’ve got hair jigs my uncle made, or a jiggy-doo-dad that is my go-to”
But order a pack of these and watch the crappie that normally just follow without ever striking start striking WAY more often.
I have a fishing youtube channel and Big Bite Baits is just about all I use now because they work better than everything else. I’m not sponsored by Big Bite Baits and I pay for the lures like everyone else.
To rig these on a normal 1/16th oz jighead you rig them without modifications (they’re supposed to be floppy).
If you’re using a 1/32nd I trim about 1/4 inch off the front. BEST Crappie Lure EVER.
