Hi my name is Mikey Duvall I am 15 years old and from Perrysburg Ohio I am a sophomore at Perrysburg High School, and I am a tournament bass angler. I’ve been fishing ever since I was a little kid but these past 3 years I have seriously committed to fishing, I started off by fishing ponds around my house with my friends but then I got serious. My dad bought a 99’ walleye boat and I started fishing Lake Erie I continued doing that from 2022 to 2023 I fished tournaments throughout those last two summers placing well in most of them but this last summer of 2024 my freshman year of high school going into my sophomore year I keyed in on what it takes to win. My dad bought a brand new bass boat this summer and I spent all summer in it. It’s a Phoenix Bass Boat, a 2023 819 Pro. I fished from May and I plan on continuing fishing all the way through December. Nowadays, fishing is all about technology , spending time driving around finding structure below you, finding fish on your forward facing sonar, and just time on the road driving all around the country to chase these fish. This past summer I fished a lot of tournaments. These four I did extraordinarily well in
Accolades
May 18th I fished the Fishers of Men High School Bass Fishing Trail Ohio State qualifier and my partner and I won it with 19 lb 2 oz. All tournaments I fish are five fish limit, of either Smallmouth or largemouth bass.
The next Tournament I fished was June 9th the Bassmaster High School Series in Saginaw Bay, Bay City, Michigan. My partner Dan and I placed 24th out of a 60 boat field.
And finally August 11th my partner Dan and I fished the Ohio Bass Federation Youth State Championship in Sandusky Bay, Ohio and placed third.
If you were to sponsor me, the Bassmaster High School Series tournaments are where your brand would get the most exposure because they host their tournaments all over the country, most starting in Florida in February and all through September in New york. I fish against kids from all around the country meaning your brand would be spread all over the country. I also travel from the states of Michigan Florida Alabama Tennessee, Ohio, New York, Illinois, Kentucky, and many more.
Tournament Angling is a serious deal in America. Numerous Universities across the country offer Scholarships both Academic and Athletic and I am very interested in earning both of these. In doing so it takes a lot of money. I have all the heart to find the fish and to work to find the fish, but the thing holding me back as of now is the money. I need help to cover the expenses of travel. In return for helping me cover the expenses of travel, I plan on supporting your brand that helps me in a sponsorship by promoting your brand weekly on Social Media on all platforms Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat,Tik Tok, YouTube you name it.
